The Scale House System is a comprehensive and easy to using weighing system designed for the forest products industry. The system supports two types of scaling operations, online or remote.
In the online environment, the scale house is attached directly to the network server. The scale tickets are stored on the network server and are periodically posted to the ticket file.
Remote scales operations are operated independently of the network server via the Host/Remote Utility. Scale house transactions are captured and stored at the remote locations and are periodically transmitted to the host computer. Support files are periodically transmitted form the host to the remote location.
Basic Steps in the Weighing Process
1. Scale-In Truck
2. Scale-Out Truck
3. If applicable, enter culls
4. Print Scale Ticket
5. If applicable, enter stick scale
6. Post Scale Tickets to Fiber Procurement module ticket file
7. Print Reports
