Use this option to post tickets to the Fiber Procurement module.
To access the Post Tickets option, move the highlight bar to the item entitled Post Tickets on the Processing Menu and press the Enter key, or click on the Post Tickets option. The system will display the Post Tickets window as follows:
Enter/edit information, or select options according the following specifications.
Cut-off Load Date
Enter the cut-off load date for the selection of tickets to be posted. The date defaults to the current system date. Only tickets with load days prior to or equal to the selected day will be displayed.
Cut-off Time
Enter the cut-off time for the selected date for the selection of tickets to be posted. The time defaults to the current system time. Only tickets with a time prior to or equal to the selected time will be displayed.
Select Tickets for Posting
The select tickets for posting button marks the tickets for posting based on the cut-off date and time. Ticket placed on hold cannot be selected for posting.
To select tickets for posting, click on the Select Tickets for Posting button. If tickets have been selected for posting, the status field will display “Selected for Posting”. To unselect tickets for posting, click on the Select Tickets for Posting button again.
Hold/Release
To place an individual ticket on “hold”, move the highlight bar to the ticket and click on the Hold/Release button, or type “Alt E”. To release an individual ticket on hold, click on the Hold/Release button, or type “Alt E”. If a ticket is on hold, the system does not allow you to select it for posting.
Hold All
To place all tickets on “hold”, click on the Hold All button, or type “Alt A”. The system does not allow you to select tickets for posting that are on hold.
Release All
To place all tickets on “hold”, click on the Release All button, or type “Alt R”. The system does not allow you to select tickets for posting that are on hold.
Post Tickets
To select tickets for posting, click on the Select Tickets for Posting button. All tickets selected for posting will be posted when the option is executed. Posted tickets are no longer displayed on the Post Tickets window.
